The Sack laboratory researches the dynamics of biological ion channels, and develops new means to observe and control their behavior. As a User at the Molecular Foundry, his laboratory synthesizes chemical tools for ion channel study that combine biological molecules with optical reporters and nanoparticles.

Adjunct Professor, School of Natural Sciences, UC Merced Senior Research Scientist, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory Alex Noy is a staff scientist LLNL where his research group works in the areas of bionanomaterials and studies nanofluidics phenomena in confined 1D and 2DS channels.
