Tim Kodalle is a postdoc in the Inorganic Nanostructures facility of the Molecular Foundry as well as at the microdiffraction beamline at the ALS. He got his PhD in physics at Helmholtz Center in Berlin, Germany, where he investigated doping strategies in inorganic thin films for photovoltaics. His current research focuses on in situ characterization of optoelectronic materials and robot-assisted optimization of synthesis routes for battery materials.
