Preetika Rastogi

Preetika Rastogi is a postdoctoral researcher in the Material Sciences Division and Imaging Facility of The Molecular Foundry at Berkeley Lab. She received her M.S. (Research) and Ph.D. from IIT Madras, India in 2023 and was also a Fulbright Scholar at Stanford University during her Ph.D. She has a chemical engineering background, and her research interests include colloids at fluid interfaces, self-assembly and using scattering, imaging and rheological tools to understand soft matter. In the Ashby group, Preetika is currently working towards developing a fundamental understanding of the all liquid interfaces in Structured Liquids by leveraging imaging techniques such as in-situ liquid phase laser scanning confocal microscopy and scanning probe microscopy.
