Boyce Chang is a postdoctoral scholar at the Molecular Foundry. He works on directing the self-assembly of soft materials such as polymer-grafted nanocrystals and block copolymers using patterned substrates. The interdisciplinary nature of his work involves various facilities at the Foundry, giving him the chance to collaborate with the vast expertise onsite. He received his PhD from Iowa State University where his research focused on the synthesis of polymers and coordination crystals.
